The Role
As Communications Coordinator you will work closely with the Communications Manager to support in the delivery of all business communications, both internally and externally. You will love creating content and will have to produce a variety of different content to support communications and marketing both online and offline. The Communications Coordinator will often sit within the marketing team, working really closely together and will report into the Communications Manager. Occasionally the communications team can also form part of the HR team, helping them to deliver business messaging.
This role would suit an in-house or agency candidate who loves all things communications! You will be a strong writer and have a passion for creating engaging content. As you will be working across both internal and external communications, working with different stakeholders you will need to be creative in your approach and enjoy finding new ways to engage different groups of people.
Responsibilities for Communications Coordinator would usually include the following:
  • Creating content for all communications including newsletters, website copy, and brochures and press releases
  • Assist communications team in developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further company objectives
  • Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices
