About Leamington Spa
Royal Leamington Spa is a beautiful and prosperous town located in the heart of Warwickshire. With a current population of around 50,000, the town’s growth was largely due to the natural spa springs that were discovered and commercialised in the nineteenth century.
The Warwickshire Spa town of Leamington Spa was ranked the happiest place to live in Britain by leading property website, Rightmove.
Leamington Spa is named after the River Leam which flows through the town; the town's name is often abbreviated to Leam by locals.
It’s known for its Regency architecture and broad boulevards. The colonnaded Royal Pump Rooms, a 19th-century bathhouse, now houses the Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum. It includes a local history gallery and an original hammam, or cooling room. Jephson Gardens is a park with formal flowerbeds and a glasshouse for tropical plants.
