About Bedford
Bedford is the historic market and county town of Bedfordshire. The town is home to an eclectic range of communities. A range of different influences ensures that Bedford is a diverse town with a cosmopolitan culture. It is also very highly regarded. The Sunday Times voted Bedford as one of the best places to live in the UK in 2019, calling the town unfairly underappreciated!

In the early 2010s, Bedford’s highly-regarded town museum and art gallery were given a multimillion-pound update, joining three formerly separate buildings together.
Still the most commanding monument in Bedford, St Paul’s Church went up at the start of the 13th century and has been altered many times over the last 800 years.
Bedford is 46 miles from London.
