The Role
The role of and SEO Executive is usually required to support with on and offsite SEO across a company’s websites to improve SERPS within Google and Bing. There is also sometimes the requirement for an understanding of technical SEO depending on the company and team structure. The role would typically be responsible for developing and optimising on site content, keyword research, link building etc. For this type of role good written communication is beneficial as well as awareness and usage of key SEO tools such as SEMrush, MOZ, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, as well as Google Analytics.
This specialist digital role would usually sit within the digital / marketing team and either report into the marketing or digital marketing manager.
A SEO executive role would suit someone how is already working within a digital content role has experience of SEO practices and want to move into a more specialised role.
