Beyond The Book has teamed up with The Brookson Group to give our businesses access to a FREE lunchtime webinar to explain and discuss IR35 and the changes in legislation coming into effect on the 6th April 2021.
The Brookson Group is a tech-enabled professional services platform offering accountancy, legal, tax, and payroll, for the entire flexible supply chain. With a dedicated in-house legal team, Brookson has spent the last 20 years supporting contractors with IR35, and more recently, have been using their wealth of knowledge to help educate and support businesses in their IR35 preparations.
With only weeks to go until the private sector IR35 Off-Payroll changes are set to come into force, there is an ever-growing need to understand the legislation and start preparing. As we always have our clients’ and the freelance community’s best interest at heart, we are keen to help provide some clarity, to ensure compliance throughout the supply chain once the changes have taken effect.
The webinar is open to any interested parties and we will be discussing:
The upcoming changes to IR35 Off-Payroll legislation
How to navigate your way through this legislation
Understanding your obligations as a business that employs freelancers, or a freelancer working within a business
Liabilities and risk in the supply chain and how to prepare for the IR35 reform
Is CEST the only tool that you can use to do Status Determination Statements (SDS)?
Please join us for ‘Helping You Prepare for IR35 and Beyond’ on Wednesday 24th February at 12:00pm. We are aiming for this webinar to last for around 60 minutes, including a Q&A session. It is specifically tailored to businesses and will focus on what you need to do to get your business ready should you currently use, or plan to use, freelancers.
To REGISTER for the IR5 Webinar, please click HERE (all who attend will also be sent a copy of the slides). If you are a freelancer, please click here for more information on how to register.
It is worth noting that spaces are limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Also, please feel free to share this page with any other interested parties outside of our network, who might benefit from attending; we are keen to inform people within our network and beyond!
Should you already have any questions you would like answered by the experts, please submit them to freelance@btbpeople.co.uk. Alternatively, you will also have the opportunity to submit any questions online during the webinar.
In the meantime, we hope this FAQ document helps to give a baseline understanding.
