Michelle Mumford

With 4 years recruitment experience (2 years dedicated to PR and Events recruitment), I run our PR and Events desk (which also encompasses content, social media and communications) here at Beyond The Book. I work really closely with both agency and client side candidates helping them to find their perfect home across the West and East Midlands, Central England and Northern Home Counties.

Before I moved into a ‘pure recruitment’ role I worked within HR in the leisure and hospitality industry, but naturally gravitated towards a role in recruitment because this is what I loved most. My career has always involved people and building strong relationships wherever I go.  

I love content, I love social media and I have a passion for all things PR. I and am a firm believer that relationships are key. Through my love of building relationships, I pride myself in working closely with my clients to truly understand their business and long-term goals, and with my candidates to know the type of working culture that will help them to thrive. Recruitment is a marathon and not a sprint. It isn’t about ‘placing that job’ but about working together for the long-term and working toward the same end goal.
