Are you an experienced Brand or Acquisition Marketing Manager with retail/ecommerce brand experience?

This is a permanent, hybrid working position (ideally based out of the office near Oxford 2 days a week but they are super flexible for the right person). The salary is c£45k + a generous bonus (up to 20%) and benefits including private health care and 27 days holiday + bank holidays, as well as scope for personal growth.

The Role

As Brand / Acquisition Marketing Manager you will be a brand centric marketer with both strategic and hands-on experience. You'll work closely with the Marketing Director to raise awareness of the business within both the UK and international markets, driving new traffic to the website and supporting the ecommerce and corporate sales teams.

You'll have the opportunity to build a team over time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and execute the marketing strategy and 18-month content calendar, including seasonal and 'evergreen' brand campaigns to support the achievement of business targets.

  • Work with the Retention Marketing Manager to ensure consistency of message throughout the customer journey

  • Lead SEO activity, managing an external SEO agency and blog writer, ensuring all deliverables are completed and live to support key seasonal deadlines. Work with cross functional teams to ensure SEO is aligned with product and sales targets

  • Increase media presence, build direct press relationships, and work with an external PR agency to launch engaging campaigns which enhance reach and cement our brand position with target audiences, ensuring all output is on-brand

  • Manage their social communities, bringing the brand to life through relevant and exciting content across current and emerging platforms

  • Develop compelling written content which aligns with their tone of voice and enhances their website, and build material which supports their commercial targets

  • Work with the Creative team to brief assets, material and collateral that drives customer engagement

  • Project manage marketing material that supports ecommerce and offline sales activity, including brochures, leaflets and product material

  • Responsible for management of activations, events and trade shows

  • Champion brand marketing across the business. Represent brand interests in cross functional projects, ensuring that guidelines are being followed

  • Keep a finger on the pulse of latest industry advances to keep marketing up to date and ahead of competitors

  • Provide monthly reporting to the Marketing team and wider business

About You

You will likely come from a similar Brand or Acquisition Marketing Manager role, either way, you'll bring relevant hands-on brand marketing experience.
