I am looking for a talented and personable Business Development Manager who loves all things new business! The company I'm working with is an events agency based in Wiltshire who are looking for someone to be in the office 2 days per week.
This role is a permanent and full-time position, and the salary is up to £45k DOE plus a commission scheme. This agency is commutable from Cirencester, Swindon, Oxford, Bristol, Reading, and Newbury, to name a few.
An amazing and modern events company in Wiltshire that manages both virtual and live events providing an end-to-end service for some incredibly well-known clients across the UK. With over 20 years' event production experience and their own in-house set design and build team, as well as their own LED studio, they have all the tools to provide a comprehensive service to their clients. They are driven on creating a narrative for every client they work with and bring brands to life using inventive and creative content. Housed in a large open-plan office space, with everything you need in one place (they even have an onsite gym!), it is a fantastic, buzzy and social atmosphere to be a part of. This is a new Business Development Manager position to join the agency in an exciting growth phase. They are looking for a new member of the team to join to help accelerate their growth and purely focus on new business.
They are looking for someone who is going to come in and be able to build value-added relationships with large corporations and senior stakeholders to grow and develop prospective business for the agency. This will be through a hybrid, targeted approach and developing strategies for targets through research. Your pipeline and relationships will be nurtured to bring clients to pitch stage where you will assist the existing Account Managers and delivery team and then hand over the client at the appropriate stage for full onboarding.
You will have experience in a Business Development or growth role
Ideally within corporate events industry but not essential
If you haven't worked within events, you will have experience selling services to large corporates
Ability to network and relationship build with senior stakeholders
Passion for business development and value-added sales
Experience in nurturing a pipeline
