This national brand with a strong heritage, whose head office is based in Oxfordshire, is looking to hire a talented Digital Designer to join their team. They are looking for this Digital Designer to have a strong bias towards UI and UX design, being fully responsible for their e-commerce website, working alongside the marketing, brand and creative team to concept, develop and deliver digital design assets and continue to build the brand's online presence through strong digital storytelling and slick customer journeys. They are working on a hybrid model of 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. This is a permanent role offering a salary of £35-£40k, DOE.

The company is passionate to create as good an experience online when buying their products as much as you would find instore and as such, their e-commerce website is constantly evolving to ensure that they are up to the minute with regards to creatively being forward-thinking and on trend and that the process to buy their products online is a seamless one from a user experience point of view.
They have a style that blends beautiful imagery with illustration and their site showcases their style, ethics and heritage and they promote multiple campaigns throughout the year, all of which, this Digital Designer will be responsible for.
Working closely with key stakeholders around the business, you will produce concepts and designs that help to innovate their creative offering, particularly across UI and UX design.
You will create cutting-edge digital designs that bring simplicity and user-friendliness, marrying both the UI and the UX together.
Being an e-commerce site, you will be developing and on brand, streamlined user journey from land page to the basket, working closely with their Front End Developer. You will champion the benefits of user-centred, mobile-first design across the business, including stakeholders with varying levels of digital skills, knowledge, and experience.
Working within their brand guidelines, but always striving to look at trends and proactively look at ways to improve both the creative look and feel of the website and various pages as well as creating digital assets across integrated campaigns, social, email and branding.
You are an experienced Digital Designer with a strong background within UI and UX, creating concepts across a wide range of digital media.
You perhaps have some experience of designing for luxury brands and can work in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy collaborating with fellow creatives as well as working closely with marketing teams, helping to ensure that consistency is maintained across all platforms and share campaign updates.

A strong portfolio of successful UI/UX design projects with responsive design methodology. You can demonstrate creative flair, a passion for aesthetic perfection as well as a keen eye for accuracy/detail
Highly imaginative, curious and hungry to push the brand's design boundaries
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Good organisational and time management skills and an ability to prioritise own workload
Able to think commercially and interpret business need into customer-facing designs
Creative problem-solver who can adapt and work agilely
Experience of Adobe Creative suite (essential: XD, PhotoShop, desired: Illustrator, Premiere)
