Are you an Events Manager with key experience running client events end-to-end, providing technical and production support throughout? This is an exciting opportunity in a successful and flourishing production company who provide exceptional event-based experiences for some household name clients. You will come from an events background and be well practiced in the planning, design, AV specifications and delivery of projects, with a natural flair for organisation and multi-tasking. You will be a confident people person, finding enjoyment working as part of a multi-talented team and at ease in a client and stakeholder facing role. This Birmingham based role benefits from complete flexible working, although there will be a requirement to drive to client meets, site visits, and event days. The salary is between £30k-£50k depending on experience.

The Role

As Events Project Manager, you will be in client-facing role, with the key responsibility of managing the client project from start to finish from developing strategies and creative planning to managing contractors and logistics, overseeing the event day and ensuring that any issues are managed efficiently.

You will come from an events production background with key experience managing large budgets and a core understanding on the technical specifications of an events AV brief.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting the client, taking detailed briefs, and analysing the requirements.

  • Working with the creative and technical teams on the brief.

  • Building scopes of work including technical, production specifications, budgets, CAD plans and health and safety documentation.

  • Being the key contact for the client, keeping them updated throughout.

  • Attending site visits to collate detailed information about the space.

  • Liaising and managing freelance crew and third-party services.

  • Managing the event day and providing a debrief after this date.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have proven experience in the live and virtual events industry.

  • Have key experience handling large and complicated events budgets.

  • Enjoy collaborating with clients and building relationships.

  • Have production expertise inclusive of video, lighting, sound mix, set and staging, CAD plans, health and safety assessments, rigging and live streaming

  • Have the ability to multi-task, problem-solve and thrive in a fast-paced environment
