We’ve got a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Online Marketing Manager to join a leading software solutions company based in the heart of Gloucestershire. This talented team create and manage innovative digital products that allow their clients to work leaner, smarter and in a more accessible way. This attractive new role will be leading on the company's latest B2C marketplace, with the responsibility of increasing traffic to the platform through paid campaigns, SEO and eDM. You will come from an e-commerce marketing background, with key experience managing and implementing acquisition marketing campaigns to build engagement to a consumer site. You will be strategically minded, and data-driven with lots of evidence to showcase your successful ROI for previous businesses. This will be a pivotal role in the company, with plenty of opportunity to make it your own and grow with the platform.

The Role

This is a brand-new role for the company, to define and execute the acquisition marketing strategy to achieve ROI for the latest B2C platform. Using your ecommerce and lead generation background you will be responsible for driving traffic to the marketplace through SEO, PPC campaigns across Google, social and direct marketing (email campaigns) as well as increasing conversation rates through the review and modification of the user journey. Working alongside the Product Owners, Marketing Manager and partnering digital marking agencies you will continually develop strategies to drive engagement and optimise the platform. This strategically led, data-driven role involves lots of accountability, with a key requirement to provide KPIs, key metrics (average order value), ecommerce conversation rate, as well as algorisms for social and Google searches. As well as being a direct line manager, this role will have lots of growth potential, leading a team from the ground up, this is a brilliant opportunity to make your mark in your next company!

About You

  • You will have a wealth of experience working on an ecommerce / digital marketplace platform, with a deep knowledge of acquisition marketing strategies to increase engagement, with the data to showcase your achievements

  • Advanced knowledge of SEO, PPC (Google, Social – Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest, Facebook), eDM and promotion referral codes

  • You will have proven expertise initiating data-driven performance strategies, reporting on key metrics, and taking this data to inform campaign initiatives

  • You will enjoy working autonomously and remotely, with a natural focus for getting into the detail

  • You will have previously worked alongside senior members of a team cohesively to achieve the company goals
