I'm currently working with a leading events agency based in Swindon that is looking to add a Junior Logistics Project Manager to their hardworking and supportive team. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of small and medium-sized events for a range of exciting clients, delivering high-standard projects across a mix of sectors. This is a permanent role offering a salary of up to £30K (DOE). This role offers flexible working post the pandemic and will be office-based 2-3 days per week. 

The Role

  • Co-ordinating technical aspects of the delivery of events, liaising with stakeholders including suppliers, venues and internal colleagues

  • You will support with delivering the project to the agreed budgets, including any internal/external costs

  • Help with organising the kit onsite and in the warehouse, checking all event equipment is prepped and ready

  • Manage kit delivery from external suppliers, ensuring its working before delivering to the venue

  • You will support onsite and be responsible for production which will include all health and safety aspects, site control, problem solving etc., to ensure smooth delivery of the event

  • You will manage technical teams onsite ensuring event schedules are met

  • You will be responsible for all onsite technical aspects of an event from build, operation and strike

  • Working alongside the Project Manager to ensure timelines are managed adequately for the delivery of the project

  • You will work closely with the Studio team to ensure they understand and deliver on the technical requirements for each project

  • Produce set plans and support with any issues the warehouse team face

  • Create technical plans for each project which will include health and safety info, CAD drawing and rigging information

  • Support the finance team with obtaining purchases and onboarding new suppliers

About You

You will have worked in a similar role and have around 2 years events experience and be looking to join a company where you can progress and grow. You have managed projects in the past with a knowledge of video lighting and audio, love technology and want to keep up to date with tech innovation. You like being organised and supporting the team and helping come up with solutions to project challenges.  You have a positive attitude and are always up for learning and developing your skills.
