Our client is based in Staffordshire, with free parking on-site. They are a well-established, family-owned, interiors brand that works in both the B2B and B2C space, supplying both the UK and internal markets.
They house approx.30 people across sales, customer service, marketing, IT and finance, who all really support each other. There is a clear team spirit!
They are now looking for someone to lead the marketing function and bring fresh ideas and strategies to their growth plans.
You will be responsible for managing the company's marketing initiatives, and leading a team of three. Specifically:
Establish marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts. Channels include email, press, print, out of home, radio, SEM, eBay and more
Oversee current offerings and come up with initiatives for new products
Research and analyse market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies
Work with the marketing team to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams
Approve and oversee the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects
Communicate with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition
Work with the Financial Controller & Director in relation to the marketing budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product
Track all marketing and sales data and create a detailed written report and verbal presentation to the Managing Directors and General Manager
Adjust marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback
Setting up campaigns, choosing keywords, deciding on ad groups and the content of final adverts for AdWords
Monitoring outgoing adverts and ensuring the keyword budget allocation is correct, A/B testing ad content and deciding which to keep and which to drop, and analysing the overall success of each campaign
You'll do really well in this role if you have experience working for an e-commerce brand/s, both B2C and B2B, and come with experience and enjoyment of managing others.
