Are you an ideas driven and autonomous Marketing Manager, looking for an opportunity to help grow and manage the marketing function for a rapidly expanding business based in Warrington? I am currently working with a unique service-led organisation with an entrepreneurial and empowering culture that is proud of its strong market presence.
This is a permanent role to start ASAP with a salary of c£35,000 - £40,000 DOE and offers flexible working with 1-2 days in the Warrington office as well as the option for flexi-hours. Commutable from Manchester, St Helens, Northwich and surrounding.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing and the wider team, you'll take the lead on the strategy and delivery of marketing activities across a range of channels and services. Collaborating with the sales teams, you'll help to build on existing opportunities and identify new routes to market.
This role has direct line management responsibility for a small team of Execs, excellent opportunities for long-term progression (both in the UK and internationally) and the opportunity to truly influence your role and the marketing team's impact on the wider business.
To develop and implement a marketing strategy, utilising a range of online and offline channels, that aligns with business goals and growth plans.
Key responsibilities will include:
Work closely with the sales teams to develop an ongoing marketing-led strategy
Utilise marketing automation to help create and engage a sales funnel
Manage a team to create demand generation & nurture campaigns
Develop and execute highly creative campaigns and content to not just drive clicks but tell the story of the business to the UK audience, emphasising the value they bring to their customers as well as providing support on proposal content and generating client success stories
Campaign analysis and analytics - report out on the impact of campaigns, growth initiatives, communications, social media and content to help foster and accelerate learning and innovation.
Conduct indepth market research to identify new market opportunities and understand audience preferences/behaviours
Although managing a small team, this is both a strategic and delivery focused role so candidates must be happy to 'roll up their sleeves and get stuck in' when needed. A good range of both offline and digital skills would suit, however, we're not expecting you to be an expert in all areas and there is access to resource for specialist elements such as paid search, paid social, etc if needed.
Candidates will come from a service-led background and will have experience collaborating with Sales to coordinate, communicate, and deliver campaigns. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics / Hubspot/ Marketo or similar is desirable as is experience of using a reporting suite such as Google Analytics or Data Studio.
