Are you a Marketing Manager from a B2B background looking for an opportunity to grow and develop all elements of strategy and planning for a successful, medium-sized organisation (c£20 million annual turnover) that actively challenges beliefs and is known as innovators in its market?
We are looking for an experienced and autonomous Marketing Manager to be responsible for the marketing function and overall corporate image of the 6 individual divisions within the organisation. The business has worked hard over the last 2-3 years to implement a strong marketing foundation but they're now looking for a commercially driven and strategic marketer (who is still happy to roll their sleeves up and carry out some of the 'day to day' when needed) to really drive marketing to the next level.
This is a permanent role to start ASAP with a salary of up to £45,000, DOE. The company is adopting a hybrid working model moving forward and so this role will be split between the office (2-3 days per week) and home working. Based in Worcestershire and commutable from Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
Develop and implement an overall marketing strategy, utilising a range of online and offline channels that aligns with business goals and growth plans.
Responsible for the development and implementation of all elements of the marketing strategy and planning that enhances brand equity and helps each of the 6 divisions to achieve company objectives
Working closely with Sales Managers and key stakeholders to proactively identify marketing support needs and build out an annual plan
Responsibility for managing the marketing budget; liaising with the leadership team on spend and making recommendations on budget allocation
Line management responsibility for the Marketing and Communications Executive, ensuring ongoing training and development and that measurable projects and campaigns are delivered on time and within budget
Build collaborative relationships with and manage stakeholder communications across 6 divisions
Ability to develop business cases
Develop and manage, in conjunction with Divisional Managers, an integrated digital marketing plan to support the promotion of each division
Manage the development of the company website as well as those of the divisions in line with brand guidelines and sales strategy requirements
Third party supplier appointment and management
Elevate the company brand and help to position as an authority within specific market and product areas
PR; work with PR agencies and trade press to develop and implement PR strategies
Planning and managing a range of innovative exhibitions and events in order to increase brand and business awareness - both within the UK and occasionally overseas
Candidates will come from a B2B background and will ideally have a genuine interest in the technical/scientific space although this isn't essential. You will be a confident individual, at Marketing Manager level, capable of managing multiple stakeholders at all levels and happy to 'push back' when necessary.
This is a busy role and so excellent project management skills along with the ability to be agile are key.
