This Global company has an 85-strong internal creative agency that designs highly creative and innovative work on projects across the globe. Working within their creative agency, as a Middleweight Graphic Designer, you will be working on cross-discipline projects, collaborating alongside a very talented creative team that consists of Brand and Graphic Designers, UX and UI Designers, Motion Designers and Animators, 3D Visualisers, Developers and Creative Project Managers, to create work that has a purpose and is very varied. As they are a consultancy, they have multiple clients and a wide variety of projects, and they proudly deliver cutting-edge creative work. This role can be based out of any of their various offices, including Birmingham, Bristol, London, Warrington, Leeds or Edinburgh. They operate a hybrid work policy of 2 days onsite and the salary for this role is £30-35k plus a very good benefits package.
You will work closely with other Designers and the Design Leads to collaborate on projects with them as well as be responsible for your own design projects, much of this will be brand, design and layout based, across print and digital.
You will support creative teams to produce their best work and always come up with creative ideas, allowing you to challenge creativity, processes and overall improve the quality of the ideas and delivery. You'll be able to take briefs directly from stakeholders, communicating and conversing clearly with the internal team and external clients, so it's important that you have good communication skills
You will bring your ideas, passion and problem-solving approaches to help them deliver fresh, creative solutions. You'll be a team player and embrace a variety of work, enjoy the buzz of a dynamic working environment and be brimming with creative ideas.
They welcome Designers who have a broad skill base, perhaps you are into doing some digital illustrations or have dabbled with motion, but at the core, you are a Designer who has conceptual ability and you have a love of good, clean design.
You are a conceptually strong Graphic Designer who has worked either in an agency or internal agency where you are used to working in a busy creative team, working on multiple projects at any one time.
You are curious and want to explore different avenues of doing creative work, enjoy solving problems and enjoy engaging across the wider team, wanting to learn from the talented team around you.
You may be an experienced junior designer wanting to take that step up into a middleweight role, or are currently in a middleweight role but craving a more varied role with great scope for development - they are happy to consider either.
You enjoy collaborating with other creatives, but can equally work on your own steam and enjoy adding value to creative discussions with clients. You have a portfolio that showcases your creative work, whether that be across print design, illustration, or digital design, you will be able to rationalise your ideas and present your work with ease.
