The role of the PPC Specialist is to work within the Digital Marketing team and be responsible for executing PPC campaigns and supporting paid media activities, in accordance with the wider Search strategy set by the Digital Acquisition Manager. A key focus of the role is the management of B2C search, shopping and display campaigns across Google and Bing. The PPC Specialist will be responsible for implementing best practice account structures and planned initiatives.

The Digital Marketing team's objective is to deliver customer and revenue growth, whilst maximising return on advertising spend.

The main areas of responsibility are:

  • PPC – Management of Google & Bing paid search accounts to agreed budgets and maximum ROAS

  • Supporting channel strategy and implementation alongside Digital Acquisition Manager

  • Ensuring campaigns are optimised to the highest standards

  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry news and opportunities

  • Google Shopping targeting and implementation

  • Feed optimisation

  • Implementation of testing programs to improve key KPIs

  • Analysis and reporting of channel KPIs

  • Automation of repetitive tasks where efficiencies can be made

  • App campaign implementation and optimisation

Key Duties:

  • Keyword Research

  • Search query mining and refining

  • Competitor analysis to keep a close eye on the market

  • Formulating testing approach to improve key KPIs such as CTR, CR and ROAS

  • Implementing Roadmap as agreed with Digital Acquisition Manager

  • Feed optimisation to improve qualified traffic from Shopping campaigns

  • Mastering internal tools required to analyse performance and make recommendations to promote growth and efficient ROAS

  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to ensure integrated campaign execution

  • Identify opportunities for additional traffic drivers and conversion rate optimisation

  • Ensure regular reports/dashboards are provided including studies and presentations where appropriate

General Duties:

  • The PPC Specialist is responsible for other such duties as specified by the Directors to enable the Company to fulfil its orders and obligations.

  • Adherence to Company Rules and Regulations, including Health and Safety, as outlined in the Company Handbook and Health & Safety Manual.

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of all knowledge and information appertaining to the Company, its customers and its employees.

Required Skills

Essential

  • A good understanding of PPC fundamentals

  • A keen interest in digital marketing

  • Experience in display and remarketing

  • Working knowledge of Google Shopping feed optimisation

  • Has some experience setting a delivery channel strategy

  • Creative thinking and problem solving

  • Experience in using audience data in search

  • Strong communication and liaison skills – both written and verbal

  • Well organised with exceptional attention to detail

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Good literacy, numeracy and accuracy skills

Desirable

  • Adobe Omniture experience

  • eCommerce and content knowledge

  • CRO

  • Paid social campaign experience

  • Interest in Photography

  • Understanding of marketing attribution

Working Locations

Office, remote or hybrid working considered with occasional travel to head office in Germany, other European offices and for additional events as required.
