This content agency is one of the largest of their kind, creating and supplying content to media outlets, commercial brands, and brand agencies worldwide.

With a library of tens-of-thousands of rights-cleared assets and new content produced daily, their viral videos, images and trending stories help power global web and social publishers, TV and OTT platforms, and global, commercial brand campaigns.

Additionally, as content producers and aggregators they are dedicated to producing and sharing, original, engaging content for the millions of fans across their owned and operated channels.

Their in-house brands are followed by millions on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook as well as DOOH and OTT platforms. Covering everything from travel, lifestyle, sea life, and pets to viral video, they're already racking up tens-of-millions of monthly views.

This agency is currently looking for a dedicated Partnerships Manager with 1-3 years' experience to work with top brands, media outlets and brand agencies to drive high-level sales and expand their commercial client portfolio, seeking out new business opportunities.

The Role

They are looking for a results' driven Partnerships Manager to seek out and grow relationships and drive commercial revenue, working with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for building and driving commercial sales of content; from generating and closing new business leads, to clearing rights and talent to pricing and delivery. You will be familiar with key media agencies and brands operating in the commercial sector, as well as having sound knowledge of different media licensing models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating new business leads and revenue opportunities with media agencies and brands

  • Primarily working with your new clients as well as helping to manage existing clients, to increase sales by pitching and rights clearing content and talent to ensure client's needs and deadlines are met

  • Keeping abreast of key content and marketing trends in the commercial sector and communicating these to the content sourcing, licensing, and commercial teams

  • Maintaining presence within the market whilst hugely increasing and improving the agency's profile in the commercial licensing space

  • Creating proactive and innovative go to market proposals, pitching the agency's services and extensive content library to new and existing clients

About You

The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated and results-driven with a passion, knowledge, and experience of the media industry. Ideally, you will have either worked for a brand, agency, or licensing company with direct first-hand experience of licensing content for large commercial brand campaigns. You will thrive under pressure, enjoy networking and meeting new people, and be able to adapt your background and experience to build and expand the client portfolio.

You will be a strong communicator and able to work across both the UK and US teams of the agency, as well as engage with key internal stakeholders worldwide.

Background, experience, and skills

Required

  • Knowledge of UGC and produced video

  • Direct experience of licensing T&Cs, clearances, releases, and agreements

  • 1-3 years of media sales experience

  • Direct involvement of the content selling process for brand campaigns

  • Previous experience working with brands/agencies

  • Experience of the pitch and win process

  • A warm/hot portfolio of existing brand/agency relationships and contacts for turn-key revenue generation

  • Knowledge of the media landscape and key markets they operate in

  • Meet and/or exceed personal and group targets

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

  • Experience creating company/brand decks including price models

Bonus skills

  • The ability to get involved and be creative in the campaign creation process

  • Knowledge and experience of Brand activation and PR

  • The ability to build third party networks

  • Knowledge or experience in editorial and/or video licensing

Location

  • Birmingham, UK. Remote working and all locations considered but at least two days per week in Birmingham for key meetings and team collaborations
