I have a new role for a PR Account Director looking to join a leading communications agency in Reading. Our client prides themselves in crafting stories that will inspire audiences to take meaningful action. This role will suit someone who loves to have their voice heard, loves working in a collaborative way and enjoys the flexibility of managing their time whether that is in or out of the office. You will have agency experience either integrated agency or PR agency, you will love working with your clients, helping to strategise and develop PR plans. You will be a people person at heart and enjoy nurturing juniors in the team, while looking to seniors to ensure you continue to grow and develop in your career. You will be coming from a B2B background, or at least have some B2B experience and an interest in the world of tech that we are surrounded by. My client is working in a hybrid way with 40% of the week in the office to suit you. Due to this flexible approach, they have attracted people who are local, but also those living further afield such as London and keen to travel out. They are made up of a team of storytellers, who just love to bring words to life, uncovering great stories for their clients who deliver campaigns that make a real difference to their clients. They are a mix of B2B and consumer.

The Role

As PR Account Director, you will be overseeing a portfolio of accounts, being the main point of contact for the client and developing strong relationships, going above and beyond for your client. You will enjoy working on proposals and assisting with pitches for new business, working with the seniors in the team. You will also love to be hands-on and get creative and so you will still be writing content and working with the media day to day.
