You will be involved in media relations, selling into the media at local, regional and national level along with working with specific publications. You will get a buzz from securing some great coverage for your clients and always be looking for ways to stand out. You may be a Senior PR Account Executive who is managing a few of your own client accounts and looking to take that next step up to PR Account Manager. Or you may be a seasoned PR Account Manager already looking for a new team to join and a portfolio of clients to work on. This is a permanent, full-time role which will be a mix of home and office-based working. The salary for this role is between £27k - £31k.
This role is based in Leicester and is easily commutable via Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Banbury, Nottingham, Loughborough, Northampton, Corby, Rugby to name a few.

As PR Account Manager, you will be responsible for working on a portfolio of client accounts across B2B or B2C sectors. You will be managing your client accounts, developing strategies and keeping them updated with PR activity. You will be creating lots of great content including press releases, articles, blogs, social media content and thought leadership. You will be involved in media relations and gaining the very best coverage for your clients. You will also get involved in event management. You will love to build relationships and be passionate about working within an agency.
You will be a brilliant writer and love getting stuck into content creation whether that be press releases or thought leadership
You will love building relationships with the media and clients and not be afraid to pick up the phone and contact the press. You will also be confident in working directly with your clients as their main point of contact and provide regular reports
You will enjoy being strategic and developing PR strategies for clients with the PR Account Directors
You will always be keeping up with the latest news and trends in the industry and will feed this into the team and projects
You will be confident in your approach and enjoy securing the very best coverage for your clients
You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, be self-motivated but love working as part of a talented team
You will want to work in an agency and be able to spin lots of plates, managing your workload and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
