Based just off the M40 into Warwickshire, the starting salary is up to £45k (DOE), progressing in tandem with the success of the role. There is flex remote/in-office working, should it be needed, of a minimum of 3 days in the office. Our client is based in Southeast Warwickshire with parking on site.

Our Client

Our client is a very well-established Creative Production House, and they work with luxury, prestigious brands or brands that reach consumers who seek out luxury in all they buy. Mainly this is within the retail, medical and motorsports space. Their clients come to them for visual solutions that enhance products and structures and spaces to the highest level. They have a long heritage of working with prestigious clients, being tasked to produce beautiful and functional display items for agencies, in retail environments, and increasingly for homes too. Alongside their physical products, they have developed a reputation for exceptional digital work ranging from 3D art to AR to animations.

They are a medium-sized team of 18, which is currently divided into production, digital, installations, and build a team with client services and project management. The production team works on high-end signage, pop-ups, model making, large format graphics, POS and displays. The digital team works on app design, web design, mixed reality, AR, 3D renders and animations to apply to apps, web design, exhibition stand demos, NPD and product visualisations, bespoke corporate gifts and more. Whatever needs innovation in digital and interactive design sits with this team.

The Role

This role is about fusing their two offers together, using creative genius to enhance their customers' projects with digital additions, connecting digital and physical solutions and strengthening their creative capacity in all aspects of the business.

You will be directly managing a small digital team already busy with projects for a range of medical clients, so aptitude or experience in people management is vital. Your digital skills can be learned, but an appreciation of the end-goals and visual/functional quality is something you'll be able to show you understand.

In addition, 50% of the role will be about working with the directors to bring their digital creative capacity in view of existing clients. This will be by way of a campaign and some focused visual showcasing, putting them on the map for new audiences along the way. For that, you will need to bring energy and ideas, some excellent traditional design skills, and an ability to upskill or source freelance specialist support in whatever area you need.

About You

Your core skills will almost certainly be derived from graphic design, but you may have found in your career or education that you don't quite fit into one discipline (our client is full of people like that!). We'd be interested to hear about what digital settings you've applied your designs, but equally, a passion and capability for understanding emerging technology and the desire to keep learning will be of equally great value.

Their intention is to increase the take-up of digital services, growing the creative department that underpins all of their products and uniquely, in tandem with the growth of our existing traditional crafts. You will be very key to that process.

People that love working for our client generally love autonomy and variety, and this role is no exception. You will be learning about their output from crafters and makers, and constantly challenging where digital creativity fits into that as a potential solution.

It's a very special role with a huge amount of potential for progression and infinite amounts of learning. We are equally happy talking to people who are self-taught as those from traditional educational routes. It's about you, your aptitude, your excitement, and your fit.

As such, applications with covering letters or accompanying info that gives a flavour of your personality are more likely to turn our heads.
