Are you a versatile Digital Interaction Designer, with a curious and highly creative mind that aims to solve problems through multi-media? We are looking for a Digital Designer to join this highly creative production house, to head up the digital team and develop into their Head of Creative, which will see you helping integrate digital design into the physical production services offered. This role requires a creative solutions mindset and would suit someone who likes to work autonomously, whilst being very much part of a team. Based just off the M40 into Warwickshire, the starting salary, dependant on experience, will be £35 - £45k, progressing in tandem with the success of the role. There is flex remote/in-office working, should it be needed, of a minimum of 3 days in the office.
Our client is a very well-established Creative Production House, based in Southeast Warwickshire with parking on site. They work with luxury brands or brands that reach consumers who seek out luxury in all they buy. Mainly this is within the retail, medical and motorsports space. Their clients come to them for visual solutions that enhance products and structures and spaces to the highest level.
They are a medium-sized team of 18, which is currently divided into Production, Digital, Installations, and build a team with client services and project management. The Production team work on high end signage, pop-ups, model making, large format graphics, POS and displays. The digital team work on app design, web design, mixed reality, AR, 3D renders and animations to apply to apps, web design, exhibition stand demos, NPD and Product visualisations, bespoke corporate gifts and more. Whatever needs innovation in digital and interactive design sits with this team.
You will head up a Digital team currently of 4 people for a key medical brand that call on this Creative Product House to enhance their visual products and marketing. You will be the leading client contact, innovating solutions, managing projects and concept development to high levels of aesthetics and functioning across a range of digital outputs. Your creative team currently houses skill sets across graphic design, UX, animation and 3D with the opportunity to employ or contract other specialisms as demand dictates. As the agency moves forward, your input will influence the continued integration of creative and digital innovation into their physical production. You may not have done it all, but you will come with a big passion for high-end design, tech and emerging technologies and an ambition to take the creative lead.
We would love to at least see a portfolio of digital UX/product design; demonstrable knowledge of 3D, animation, AR etc to know what is possible; and an appreciation for good, clean, functional design across all media. There are skilled specialists to cover the specialist areas and you will need to be a people person, open to learning more and developing your competencies.
You'll fit right in if you are a self-starter who has worked hard to get to where you are now, and a team spirit and agility to work collaboratively and positively to solve problems with creative flare.
