We are super excited to be working with an award-winning communications agency that is based in Birmingham, with 2 other offices in the UK. The agency holds an impressive portfolio of clients working with leading companies in their industry. Specialising in B2B PR and communications, our client is offering a passionate Senior PR Account Executive the opportunity to be incredibly hands-on, ensuring great exposure to all things PR. Not only will you be joining a great team in Birmingham, but you will also have the support of the wider group, working with a team of incredibly talented, like-minded people.
The Role
As Senior PR Account Executive, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for a portfolio of clients, you will be writing press releases, blogs, articles, thought leadership and social media content as required by your client. You will be responsible for media relations, picking up the phone to gain maximum coverage for your clients at local, regional and national levels. If you are a PR Account Manager, then you will have excellent experience in managing a portfolio and love to be hands-on.
About You
To be the successful candidate for the role of Senior PR Account Executive you will:
Love to write! You will have experience in creating content for different channels including press releases, articles, blogs, thought leadership, white papers, and social media content
Strong media relations experience and love to build relationships. You will be confident in picking up the phone and selling into the press at local, regional and national level
Have a thirst for the media! You will love to keep up to date with what is happening in the world and enjoy learning
Be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at any one time
Be a team player!
A strong communicator both written and verbally
Have experience in working within B2B or corporate PR
Experience in Public Affairs is a bonus!
