I am incredibly excited to be working with a leading events and exhibitions company based in the West Midlands as they are looking for a Senior PR and Communications Manager to join their team. You may be working in an agency but looking to make the move in-house to focus on 2 core brands, or you may be working in-house and looking for a new challenge. You will have experience in all aspects of PR and Communications from developing strategies, writing lots of content and key messaging, to media relations, building relationships with regional and national press. Relationships will be super important to you, and you will get a buzz out of securing great coverage. You will have brilliant attention to detail and enjoy writing content for blogs, articles, social media and PR. You will be working with this company's biggest brand and so confidence is key.
This role is permanent and full-time with a starting salary of up to £36,000 pa + £300 monthly allowance. The role will be a mix of home and office work with 3 days a week onsite.

As Senior PR and Communications Manager, you will be managing strategies and hands-on implementation for the company. You will be working closely with the Head of PR and Communications and taking ownership of your projects. You will be involved in PR, communications, content and social media. Not only is this company a well-known and highly regarded brand, but they know how to look after their people with a monthly allowance, lots of benefits, free parking and hybrid working. Not to mention an incredibly buzzy culture.
You will be coming from an in-house OR agency background and you will be incredibly passionate about communications.
Strong experience in content creation for press releases, articles, social media, key messaging
Some experience in crisis communications
You will be strategic minded and will assist with the overall PR and Communications strategy for your brands
You will have built brilliant relationships with the media (including trade) and will love nurturing these relationships
You will enjoy all sides to communications and enjoy building on your skillset
An interest in the events space is key
Proven experience in working in a senior level PR role and brilliant with clients and stakeholders
Confident and passionate
Love working in a hybrid way
A team player but also able to manage your own workload
This role is based in Birmingham and will be office-based 3 days a week, offering loads of flexibility. This role would suit a PR and Communications Manager looking to step up, or maybe you are a PR Account Manager/Director looking to move in-house.
