This global design consultancy with offices around the UK, including Birmingham, Bristol and London, is looking for Senior UX Designer to join their growing UX team. Working within their 80-strong creative agency, where they have talented Designers that work across UI, UX, immersive technology, motion and film, 3D design and visualisation, print and branding. This role of Senior UX Designer will be working within their UX team whereby you will be working on both big and small projects, taking the projects from research to concepts, wireframing and prototyping to user testing and then to UI design. They are happy for this role to be based out of Birmingham, Bristol or London. They are working on a hybrid model of 6/8 days onsite each month (as a minimum), so giving lots of flexibility. Salary wise, there is flexibility on salary depending upon the amount of experience that you have within UX, but it would be ideally paying around £55-70k before benefits and bonus.
You will be working collaboratively with the team as well as independently on small and larger digital projects where you will relish solving design challenges, coming up with innovative solutions for the product in both the direction, visuals and experience.
You will be confident to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, site maps and be proficient in creating high fidelity prototypes and user interfaces.
You enjoy facilitating or participating in Discovery workshops and can gather feedback and run user interviews.
You will be able to communicate design ideas and prototypes to Developers and have good communication skills to be able to collaborate and communicate with the wider team and clients directly.
You are proficient in Adobe CS suite as well as Sketch and Figma.
You enjoy problem-solving and like to find solutions to a design problem. You are comfortable working end to end, looking at research and how that drives the user experience across both web interfaces and apps.
You love to create excellent design work that is centered on making it the best experience for the user. You have good attention to detail and like to see projects through, but equally, can juggle multiple projects at any one time.
You have experience and a portfolio to showcase your latest projects that represent your thinking process. You are also confident in UX design deliverables such as conducting/participating in workshops, creating user stories, storyboarding, user flows, site maps, information architecture and wireframes
You will inspire the wider team, offering quality control, guidance and mentoring on projects and technical awareness
