I have a great role as a Social Media Account Director looking to join a global integrated agency in Birmingham. I am working with one of my favourite clients as they start the search for a talented social media professional to join their team. You will be working at a senior level, being client-facing and developing strategies for national and international campaigns across a portfolio of brilliant clients. You will be the go-to for social media and will sit on the pitch team, educating clients and helping them bring their goals to life. You will have a few direct reports and enjoy nurturing and growing more junior members of the team passing on your knowledge. You will be working on a portfolio of Consumer and B2B clients and so we don't mind what background you come from. Although working at a senior level you will enjoy being hands on in creating content plans and reporting on social campaign success. This role is a mix of home and office working, 2 days a week in the office with the view that it will be 3 days a week in the office long-term. This is a permanent, full-time role. The Role

You will be a Social Media Account Director taking a lead on a portfolio of accounts (mostly consumer with some B2B). You will be the lead for your client, working with them to develop compelling social media campaigns at national and international level. You will be part of the pitch team, being the expert for clients, while line managing a couple of juniors in the team, nurturing them in their career.

The role is based in Solihull and commutable across Warwickshire and the West Midlands and parts of the East Midlands.

About You

  • Client-facing, working with your client portfolio to set impactful social media strategies and then managing the implementation

  • Forming part of the pitch team, going out and winning new business with the team

  • Line managing a few juniors in the team, helping them grow and develop in their career, supporting and ensuring that they are learning and growing

  • Hands-on in some content planning, creating content and reporting on campaign success, reporting back to your clients and using data to inform strategy
