This very busy marketing agency are looking for a Studio Manager to help manage and build their studio. This is a great role that needs an experienced Studio Manager/Traffic Manager to set up processes and systems and really work closely with the Creative Director to ensure the smooth flow of creative work through their busy studio.

About the role

Due to the expansion and great organic growth, this creative agency are now needing a hands on Studio Manager who can both set up traffic systems and put in processes and procedures as well as be hands on with artwork production where needed.

You will be given autonomy to input a new scheduling system and implement processes that you feel aid the smooth running of creative briefs through the studio, ensuring that client services and creatives are working in synergy and being able to accurately account for timing of briefs and juggling workflow.

You will co-ordinate and book freelance support to help with peaks in workload, being the go to for all teams who need to source freelance resource across online and offline.

About you

You are highly organised and love to look at ways to simplify processes. You are calm under pressure and are a real problem solver.

As an experienced Studio Manger, you may have been a creative artworker and can still turn your hand to helping with creative artwork when the studio is busy and an extra pair of hands in needed.

You have worked within an agency and have worked on workflow systems previously and are able to implement what you feel would be the best workflow system for the whole agency to work with.

You have great people skills, but aren't a pushover, you know how to juggle resource and client/client services demands and can come up with solutions to problems when they arise.

You are excited to be able to set up a studio and systems from scratch and are keen to work closely with their Creative Director to be able to create and build the vision for the creative team.

There is some onsite working in this role, but lots of flexibility given, so it is a remote/onsite split. This agency is based in a lovely village in South Northamptonshire, on the border of Buckinghamshire and is commutable from Northampton, Towcester, Bicester, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Banbury, Bedford, Rugby and Luton.
