This new role is one where you will be given the time to train and develop within Creative recruitment, both on the freelance and permanent sides of the Creative sector. The Creative sector encompasses a wide spectrum of roles that include graphic design, digital design, copywriters, artworkers, and many other creative roles across both design and advertising agencies, as well as companies with internal creative departments.  

The training for this role will be a supportive journey with ultimate promotion to consultant once your core strengths have been identified and applied to a role designed around you! Typical time scales would be within 12 months.  This is a permanent full-time role and we are offering a competitive salary.

You could be at any stage in your career, but we do need you to come with some experience in the Creative industry and with an exceptional eye for great design! 

The Role 

  • To work closely with our Creative Development Director and our two highly experienced freelance sector consultants to support them in the sourcing and management of their predominantly freelance, as well as permanent, candidates.

    • Assisting the freelance team with the sourcing of freelance talent through online channels

    • Using tools and platforms to source creative permanent candidates, to pass to the Creative consultant for engagement and qualification

    • Managing inbound enquiries and some initial fact-finding conversations with creative freelancers, acting as a much needed first point of contact

    • Working with the freelance team to engage with freelancers for contract availability

    • Helping to manage the onboarding and booking processes for freelancers and clients

    • Helping to maintain all compliance standards and efficient administrative processes 

Your skills and qualities: 

  • Some experience working within the Creative industry is desirable

  • A natural people person with a genuine desire to use your strong relationship building skills

  • You are genuinely proactive in the roles you have had; a self-starter, goal orientated, and with high levels of motivation

  • Strong verbal communication skills, both on the phone and face to face

  • A high level of literacy, and thorough, with very good attention to detail

  • Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Comfortable with learning and using a range of new online platforms, such as databases and other software/tools

  • A proven ability to help plan and work on multiple projects at the same time

  • Solution focussed with the ability to solve problems creatively and quickly

  • A strong team player - not just a cliché - you truly understand (and enjoy!) the benefit of teamwork and behave and communicate accordingly

  • Strives to continuously improve and be happy to work on areas of personal development

  • Naturally bright, inquisitive, positive, and fun!

  • Own transport – business premises not on a public transport route. After the initial training period, there will be home/office working flexibility. For existing established consultants, we are working on a 2 day in the office, 3 days from home flexible rota.
