I am looking for an exceptionally thoughtful, curious and innovative UK Head of Marketing to join one of the fastest-growing digital retail businesses as they look to land their brand and product in the UK market.
This is a permanent role based remotely but with travel to London, as and when necessary (likely a couple of times a month) and is offering a base salary of between £65,000 - £85,000 DOE + generous bonus + benefits.
The UK Head of Marketing will have experience in brand across B2C and ideally B2B marketing, particularly in brand, content and e-commerce and must be a team player: as comfortable jumping into the weeds as they are capable of developing long-term strategy, vision and meaningful change.
The ideal candidate will have successfully developed and scaled growth programs for online retail or digitally focused organisations.
Following the global Brand Strategy plan and Brand Guidelines, execute on the strategic vision for B2B and B2C marketing; working in collaboration with CEO and CRO, researching and creating a strategy to drive local brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Budget management c£1.3m
Spearhead growth through marketing channels (paid, email, podcasts, social, etc.), robust referral programs, customer list development + lifecycle program design, content development and distribution for SEO, events, PR, partnerships & other marketing efforts.
Drive traffic to the B2C channels, focusing on conversion, cost of acquisition, bounce rate, transaction value, etc.
Implement global Social Media positioning, partnering with the global team, and execute the company's Social Media strategy.
Develop and execute highly creative campaigns and content to not just drive clicks but tell the story of the business to the UK-based audience, emphasising the value they bring to their customers.
Develop and drive lifecycle retention programs, including transactional messaging, trigger programs, and large-scale campaigns.
Measure Impact. Is it working? Rigorously analyse data, report out on the impact of campaigns, growth initiatives, communications, social media and content to help foster and accelerate learning and innovation.
Build and retain a talented team; manage effectively to implement strategy, achieve target goals and create new opportunities for impact.
Coordinate sales and marketing efforts, working with your global counterparts across the AU and US markets and new regions as they arise to maximise brand awareness.
Candidates must bring a solid marketing background with strong digital and ecommerce experience and resilience in fast-paced, high profile, and ever-changing situations (early stage start-up experience is a plus). You should also have excellent people management skills and the ability to coach and drive excellence. Although a small team of 2 currently this is set to change as the business grows quickly in the UK.
