Our client is a Birmingham based agency that is looking for a talented creative Video Editor, experienced in Motion Graphics to join their content team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will have a strong portfolio, an eye for design and great style in the edit, as well as good After Effects skills. This role offers a flexi working structure and pays up to £33K DOE with an impressive benefits package.
This role reports to the Senior Media specialist, who is responsible for the ideation, concept generation, storyboarding and client relationship management of all things film and motion. This role supports the film and motion output, as well as working alongside Graphic Designers, Digital specialists and being supported by more junior-level Content Producers.
This role of Video and Animation Editor will be the team’s post-production specialist – responsible for working with concepts and assets to create the final moving content that applies to educational, marketing, events and PR communications. You will be developing ideas and concepts to respond to a brief with an open ‘multi-media’ mind. Whilst a specialist in post-production, this role does call for creativity in selecting audio, graphical and video footage assets and finding new ways to work with those assets for the most creative and fresh output. Basically, you love nothing more than working with a concept and realising the idea to an amazing piece of moving intent! Roughly 70% of the role is working with video, with 30% animation.
This creative agency works across creative, design, digital, media and print, delivering high quality innovative solutions and multi-discipline campaigns within education, the arts and entertainment, B2B, charity and construction. You will sit within the content team, working with the internal creative team and external suppliers to create innovative content for numerous clients and various audiences, within a variety of sectors.

Will have a strong portfolio showing evidence of content production skills
Will have experience in both Motion Graphics and editing (experience in wider Animation, Storyboarding, Film, Photography and Production is a bonus!)
Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator, to create, edit and post produce content
Self-motivated yet able to engage well across the content team and wider Agency
Are passionate about creative, digital media and technology
Keep on top of the latest trends and want to continuously develop your skillset
Able to perform in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and keep calm and focused under pressure
