Milton Keynes is a relativity ‘new town’ and was created in the 1960’s as part of a Government initiative for the generation of a new town in the South East of England to relieve population and housing congestion in London.

Milton Keynes was the biggest of the new towns to be created and is now home to a population of 230,000 people and has one of the more successful economies in the UK.

Culturally and historically, Milton Keynes is a vibrant and diverse city with theatres, museums, art, sculpture and architecture all within the city centre.

Milton Keynes Theatre is the most successful theatre outside London's West End with world famous musicals to fantastic opera production and family-friendly pantomimes.

There is also a great selection of Museums including Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes Museum, National Badminton Museum, The National Museum of Computing and The Cowper & Newton Museum.
