Are you a Marketing Assistant with a passion for content and social media, looking to join a membership organisation in Solihull, Birmingham? I am working with one of my long-standing clients as they begin the search for someone who absolutely loves marketing and is looking for a varied role, supporting a talented marketing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some experience but looking to develop their career and learn from an inspiring and talented team. With a salary of £25k, this full-time permanent role is with a lovely team and in a beautiful office in Solihull, where you will be office-based 2 days a week. Our client is a forward-thinking membership organisation set up to service the professional services industry, providing advice, support, guidance, a network, and marketing and brand development for their members. They are a small, friendly, and incredibly talented team that works closely with their members to provide the very best service while influencing positive change in the industry. They are embracing hybrid working, allowing you to split your time between home and their beautiful barn conversion in Solihull. Not only do they have a brilliant team, but they also have several office dogs which make the office even better! Must drive due to location.
The Role
As Marketing Assistant, you will be supporting the marketing team across all areas of marketing and, in particular, you will be writing content for a range of channels such as blogs, articles, social media and email. You will also be managing social media campaigns end to end. If you have a creative eye that is a bonus! No two days will be the same as you support across marketing activities and continue to grow and develop your career. Experience is needed but culture fit is 100% the most important thing.
About You
- A huge passion for content, and experience writing for a range of marketing channels such as blogs, articles, social media, email and web.
- Good attention to detail and can spot a typo a mile off!
- Some social media experience, working across different platforms, as you will be creating content plans, scheduling, and posting content.
- Developing content plans and calendars and scheduling content with a planning tool.
- Creating fresh content and designing digital assets using Canva or the Adobe Suite (if you have the skills, if not they can teach it!).
- Sourcing, editing and repurposing content.
- Some experience in B2B would be beneficial.
- A passion for all areas of marketing and happy getting stuck in as needed with a range of marketing tasks.
This role is based in Solihull and will be a mix of home-working and office a minimum of 2 days per week, to suit you.
