Business Development Manager

Already succeeding in business development within live events, experiential marketing or creative agencies? Perhaps you're delivering results but looking for a business with bigger ambitions, stronger leadership and the opportunity to genuinely influence future growth. I'm working exclusively with a highly respected creative events agency that has spent more than 30 years delivering exceptional live experiences for some of the world's best-known brands.

The business is entering an exciting new chapter, evolving from a production-led organisation into a full-service creative agency, and they're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive that growth.

This isn't a transactional sales role. You'll be responsible for developing strategic relationships with major organisations, identifying high-value opportunities and working alongside specialist creative, technical and proposal teams to convert those opportunities into long-term partnerships.

The Role

• Identify and engage new target clients
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers
• Manage consultative sales cycles from initial contact through to pitch
• Generate opportunities across conferences, exhibitions, brand experiences, roadshows and live events
• Work closely with internal creative and technical specialists to develop winning proposals
• Build a high-quality pipeline of strategic opportunities

We're Looking For

You'll most likely come from one of the following backgrounds:

• Live Events
• Experiential Marketing
• Brand Experience
• Event Agencies
• Creative Agencies
• Experience Agencies
• Live Communications

You'll also have:

• A proven track record in new business development
• Experience managing longer, consultative sales cycles
• The ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
• A genuine passion for developing new business rather than managing existing accounts
• An understanding of the events or creative agency landscape
