Positive & Inclusive Business
Our approach to a positive and inclusive business
Our business has cultivated a culture where our people, clients, candidates, and freelancers feel safe, respected, and included. We have detailed below the measures we have in place to ensure we deliver on being a people positive employer.
Ethics & Environment
- We comply with all small business Government legislations, regulations and policies.
- We have a corporate social responsibility company policy.
- We have a Health & Safety champion within the business.
- We value honesty & have integrated that as part of our core values.
- Have an environmental policy.
- We operate a fully remote working policy which reduces transport emissions.
- We always want to ensure we are aligned to our Client’s EDI policies in the recruitment process for any jobs briefed to us, and do not want to misrepresent our clients when it comes to EDI. We therefore have a section in the Job Briefing form (which we go through on every job briefing with our clients) that asks:
“Would you like you to include any Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) statement or wording into any Job Ad or candidate attraction copy? i.e. a statement that starts with our client is committed to….
We then ensure we approach our search and advertising in accordance with our Client’s EDI policy.
Human Rights
- We have a statement for our employees.
- We carefully choose the businesses that we work with, against ethical criteria.
People & Society
- We are committed to paying the living wage and aligning remuneration to market rate without discrimination.
- We have an equal opportunities policy as we are committed to achieving a working environment which provides equality of opportunity and freedom from unlawful discrimination on the grounds of race, sex, pregnancy and maternity, marital or civil partnership status, gender reassignment, disability, religion or beliefs, age or sexual orientation. We also aim to provide a service that does not discriminate against its clients and customers in the means by which they can access the service supplied by us. We believe that all employees and clients are entitled to be treated with respect and dignity.
- We are officially a disability confident employer, having completed training provided by the Disability Confident Employer Government Scheme.
- We gained ED&I recruiter accreditation in early 2024, achieving our Insider+Recruiter certification through APSCO, the UK's Recruitment Trading Body.
Community
- We have a corporate social responsibility policy
- We volunteer at various Universities and Colleges to support undergraduates in interview competency and CV/Portfolio design
- We volunteer as guest speakers at various Creative and Marketing community events
- We publish free advice within our website’s resources page and via our monthly podcast, both of which are designed to enhance community knowledge, confidence and success in the workplace
We are in the process of starting our support for a local charity who are committed to helping under privileged young people enhance their life skills and opportunities.
Value & Quality Assurance
We pack as much value as possible into client and candidate experience, from in-depth qualification of candidates to psychometric testing for cultural fit to data & insight gathered on client and BTB candidate experience to aid continuous improvement. And, we invest heavily in tools and platforms to exhaust the market.
We deliver a quality service. It is in our DNA. Our knowledgeable consultants extract a quality brief and attract and engage discerning candidates who only want to work with quality led consultants. We conduct in depth face to face qualification, provide detailed candidate profiles and closely project manage the recruitment project from start to finish, and beyond.
