Content Producer
Have you actually made content perform? Perhaps you've built your own YouTube channel or grown an audience from your bedroom. Maybe you're already working as a Videographer, Video Producer or Content Creator and obsess over hooks, thumbnails, retention and why one piece of content takes off while another doesn't. Either way, we're more interested in what you've made than how many years are on your CV.
We're recruiting for an ambitious, growing content business specialising in YouTube strategy. They've generated 4.5 billion+ organic views, working with globally recognised brands and some of YouTube's biggest creators. They're now looking for a Founding Content Producer to work directly alongside the Founder and help take ownership of an established and growing content operation.
This is initially a part-time position, working 2–3 days per week, but there's genuine scope for the role and your responsibility to grow as you increasingly take ownership of the content operation.
The role is deliberately on-site in Warwickshire. You'll be involved in shoots, working directly alongside the Founder and learning through doing, so this isn't a remote editing position.
What you'll be doing
This is a hands-on role where you'll be making, shaping and shipping content. You'll get involved in:
• Developing content ideas, hooks and scripts
• Reviewing and directing video edits
• Creating YouTube thumbnails and content packaging
• Shooting content and supporting production
• Coordinating freelance editors and writers
• Publishing content and analysing what performs
• Working on established client YouTube channels
• Keeping projects moving and making sure great ideas actually become great content
Who we're looking for
We're not looking for a conventional marketer. We're looking for a creator. Someone who:
• Has made and published video content, professionally or personally
• Understands what makes online content perform
• Is comfortable writing and behind a camera
• Is immersed in YouTube and creator culture
• Has strong creative judgement and opinions about what works
• Is organised enough to manage projects, people and deadlines
• Is entrepreneurial, curious and hungry to learn
• Takes ownership rather than waiting to be given a task list
You might be an early-career Videographer, Video Producer, Content Producer or Content Creator. You might equally have built an impressive channel or following yourself without ever having worked in a traditional content role.
No degree is required and we're not looking for a particular number of years' experience. Show us what you can do!
