Growth Director
A commercially driven growth leader with over 17 years' experience helping digital businesses scale. Having built their career with leading ecommerce brands before joining an ambitious international start-up, they are equally comfortable shaping commercial strategy, leading high-performing teams and getting into the detail of what drives sustainable growth.
Most recently, they played a key role in scaling a digitally-led business from launch to a $10m+ run rate in just two years, building much of the commercial growth function along the way. Their experience spans performance marketing, CRM, SEO, partnerships, brand, marketplaces and ecommerce, but what really sets them apart is their ability to look beyond individual channels and focus on the bigger commercial picture.
- Over 17 years' experience driving growth across ecommerce, travel and consumer businesses, from established brands through to high-growth scale-ups.
- Helped scale an international start-up from launch to a $10m+ business, leading the digital growth strategy and overseeing the majority of customer acquisition activity.
- Managed significant marketing investment, including budgets exceeding £10m, while consistently improving commercial performance and marketing efficiency.
- Built and developed high-performing teams, combining strategic leadership with a hands-on approach when needed.
- Extensive experience across performance marketing, CRM, SEO, partnerships, affiliate marketing, marketplaces and digital trading.
- Strong commercial mindset, with a track record of creating new revenue opportunities, improving profitability and working closely with founders and senior leadership to support wider business growth.
They come across as commercially sharp, thoughtful and someone who genuinely enjoys building businesses rather than simply running marketing campaigns. They ask good questions, think strategically and aren't afraid to challenge ideas if it leads to a better outcome. Equally comfortable around a board table or working closely with delivery teams, they're looking for a business where they can play a key role in the next stage of growth and have a genuine influence on commercial direction.
