This new role has been designed to help support our two Freelance consultants, and the wider business, in the areas of candidate management, database and website management, admin and marketing.
You could be at any stage in your career and ideally have some exposure to the Marketing and Creative industry, or recruitment, but this isn’t essential for the right individual.
The Role
To work with the Creative team to build and maintain efficient communication channels and administrative processes with candidates and clients, and with a specific focus on Freelance, including
Managing inbound inquiries and some initial fact-finding conversations with freelancers
Working with the freelance team to engage with freelancers for contract availability
Helping to manage the onboarding and booking processes for freelancers and clients
Helping to maintain all compliance standards and efficient administrative processes
Assisting the Freelance team with the sourcing of freelance talent through online channels
To work flexibly with the BTB Support team to undertake a range of administrative, marketing and online tasks, as required, including:
Administration and continuous improvement of the BTB website and CRM recruitment database
Creating Social and Marketing graphical content with Sketch (no previous experience needed)
Editing/Proofreading of BTB published content
Other on and offline tasks relating to the recruitment process
To continually communicate with the BTB Recruitment consultants, and the wider BTB team, in order to share progress and support others, with roles, candidates and clients, and to help foster a learning culture at Beyond The Book
Your skills and qualities:
A natural people person with a genuine desire to use your strong relationship building skills
You are genuinely proactive in the roles you have had; a self-starter, goal orientated, and with high levels of motivation
Strong verbal communication skills, both on the phone and face to face
A high level of literacy, and thorough, with very good attention to detail
Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Comfortable with learning and using a range of new online platforms, such as databases and other software/tools
Proven ability to help plan and work on multiple projects at the same time
Solution focussed with the ability to solve problems creatively and quickly
A strong team player - not just a cliché - you truly understand (and enjoy!) the benefit of teamwork and behave and communicate accordingly
Strives to continuously improve and happy to work on areas of personal development
Naturally bright, inquisitive, positive, and fun!
