Based in a picturesque location, our client's gorgeous offices are soon having a fresh refurb inclusive of a contemporary desk area for an innovative workspace and a new break out area for the team. They're true specialist in what they do, from the planning of data to strategic creative services and have a broad client base across a number of sectors including retail, FMCG and the public sector. They're going through a process of positive change inclusive of new business wins, incentives and initiatives for best practises and ways of working.
As a seasoned Senior Account Manager (or Marketing Manager with strong Direct Marketing experience) you will be able to hit ground running, leading on one of the agencies most high profile accounts whilst supporting a team from day one. You will have an excellent understanding of direct and digital Comms and natural confidence to win the hearts and minds of clients and the team alike. You will have top notch communications skills liaising with senior clients, junior creatives to data analysts. You will need a good grasp of data and a keen commercial eye when it comes to managing client budgets and campaigns and you'll want to be part of the client strategy meetings and have the readiness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. Supporting your Account Director in commercial strategy and development of your accounts whilst also supporting junior members of your team.
You'll need passion too, and lots of it! And for your efforts? We want to hear from you, if you:
Are degree educated or equivalent
Have 4 years+ agency experience or strong Direct Marketing experience gained in-house.
Have experience writing concise, insightful briefs
Have solid experience working closely with data and spreadsheets in relation to direct and results driven marketing
Are competent liaising with fulfilment houses on print versions
Are knowledgeable with eDM systems
Enjoy critiquing creative concepts and presenting to clients
Are a natural multi-tasker whilst also being detail oriented, always aiming for quality and best output
Have good experience working in a busy environment and want to bring key learnings and successful processes to your next opportunity
