Marketing & Events Executive

Are you an Events Executive OR Marketing Executive with strong events experience who wants to work in a sector that means something and where you can make a genuine impact on the lives of others? Our client is a business in the B2B space, and they are looking for someone with fab experience in events management and broader marketing such as social media, email and lead gen but weighted to events. Our client has an office in Birmingham, and they operate in a hybrid way (loads of flex). The salary for this role is £26k-£30k + lots of nice benefits.

The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Executive with strong Events management experience to join this well-established business with a small but growing marketing team, and a culture of ownership, innovation and trust. Making a big impact with your work will be super important to you, as you will have exceptional attention to detail and thrive in an environment where you can own your projects.

About You

  • Experience in managing a whole range of events from end to end; planning, promoting, logistics and organising and follow-ups
  • You will be obsessed with the detail and absolutely love planning and organising ensuring you are meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Experience in social media management; understanding what content performs well on different channels and able to promote a range of events to different target audiences
  • Email marketing: helping to write content for email marketing campaigns and a willingness to learn more about email marketing
  • Experience and a willingness to get involved with broader marketing campaigns
  • A passion for people and enjoy building relationships and working with a range of partners
  • Love to keep up to date with the industry and spot opportunities for the team
  • Working closely with the marketing team to support on wider projects
  • A proactive approach and hunger to develop
