US Brand Manager *ROLE ON HOLD*
Are you looking for a new role as a Part-time Content Manager / Marketing Manager to focus on delivering comms campaigns across social media, brand and content for an in-house business? Our client is looking for someone to join their fully remote UK business to be the US Content Manager. You will manage the USA brand for the company and be responsible for all comms activities for a DTC audience.
Essential experience; lived and worked in the USA but relocated to the UK and therefore, you will ideally be a US Citizen.
This is a part-time, permanent role with a salary of £35k-£40k FTE to be prorated. Our client is remote first so you can either work fully remotely but you do need to be based in the UK; if you are more local, they do have an office in Cheshire if you want to make use of it. The Role
You will be responsible for managing the US brand across content, social media, and comms. With a passion for storytelling, you will be telling this organisation's story to the USA market, taking a well-established strategy for the UK and tailoring it for the US. This role will require you to have lived and worked in the US as we need you to understand the culture, ways of working, nuances, and how to market to the USA and how it differs from the UK, you need to have immersed yourself in this market. You will have ownership of this part of the business and will be able to grow this. This is a hands-on role so you will be doing the do as well as campaign ideation!
About You
- Experience in planning, developing and implementing social and content campaigns to help increase brand awareness and recognition in the US DTC market
- Ideally, you will be a US citizen or lived and worked in the US for a number of years and be fluent in US English
- Identify, research and write features, blogs, articles, and press releases for online and offline channels
- Building relationships and coming up with ideas for new partnerships for the brand
- Experience in social media and will be managing the US social channels; content plans, scheduling, posting and reporting along with influencer work
- You will have brilliant experience in working with the US market
- Happy working in a remote way (but there is an office in Cheshire if you would like to be office-based)
- Autonomous but love to work as part of a team
- Experience in growing a brand via social, PR and content strategies
- This is ideally a part-time role 3 days per week but flex on part-time hours
