Personal Finance Expert

Are you a Personal Finance Expert working in the comms space? We are looking for a Personal Finance Expert for a financial services business in Solihull/London. This is an incredibly unique role and a brilliant opportunity to really make it your own and help shape and grow it. This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £60k-£80k DOE. It can be based at either the Solihull or London office and the role is hybrid. If you can be onsite 2 days a week, brilliant, if not then the occasional trip to the office will be needed so still get in touch if you need more remote working. The Role

As Personal Finance Expert you will act as the face and voice of a new product in the personal finance space, providing expert insights on personal finance, savings and money management to a wide audience including financial, consumer and broadcast media, showing the business as an expert and positioning them as a trusted voice along with raising awareness. This is a great role for someone who is coming from a finance journalist background, media relations or you may have been a spokesperson. This role is both strategic and hands-on in the delivery.

About You

• A strong background in financial services and in particular the ability to advise and consult on personal finance
• Coming from either finance journalism, media relations or spokesperson background
• A passion for writing and able to write for different channels – helping to engage an audience and helping them improve their money management
• Proven experience in offering insight and tips on personal finance topics
• You will serve as a primary spokesperson for the proposition across traditional and broadcast media including TV, radio and podcast
• You will have strong relationships with journalists and the media with good contacts in the industry
• Experience in raising a profile across a range of consumer and lifestyle media
• Strong knowledge of UK financial products, savings, savings tools and economic policies
